Coursing Ability

SECOND CAX —
Woodacre's Little Big Man CAX CGC and Jackie Phillips of San Leandro, CA

Big Congratulations to Rusty — only the second All-American to earn the Coursing Ability Excellent title for passing the test 25 times! He achieved this feat on Dec. 30 at the Basenji Club of Northern California test in Hollister, CA. Jackie adopted Rusty in July 2010 from a shelter in Oregon when he was about 8 months old. "Not much was known at that point about his background, other than that he was shipped to Oregon from South Carolina, where he was born." With Jackie's guidance, Rusty has excelled at a number of sports in addition to coursing, including weight pull, rally, tracking, sprint racing, disc dog and obedience. "By far, Rusty has more energy and drive packed into his little body than any Border Collie or Jack Russell combined," she said.
